I came across an unexpected obstacle. During character animations, a static sprite persists in the background, overlapping and interfering with the look of the animations.
This unwanted sprite remains motionless, hidden behind the character's animations.
it's very unlikely you still need help, but in case you do: search for "paralax background" tutorials. Basically, the paralax effect means that objects closer to you move slower than those further away. That's why there are layers

when i import an itch.io 2d asset to my unity project the assets are very low quality ?
change max size for example 2048 to 4096 or 8192

Just flip the sprite, if it's drawn well it should be symmetric.
can't do it(i use game maker studio 2 for my game and can't flip the sprite)
